Student billing policies
You are expected to attend all classes in which you are enrolled. If you do not attend or stop attending classes and fail to personally drop the class or classes by the drop deadline listed in the published schedule, you will be held responsible for all tuition and fees. Payment in full is due at the time of registration. Failure to pay your balance in full at the time of registration may result in your entering into a deferred payment plan that will result in a $30 fee. If after the sixth week of the term, you still owe a balance, your account may be charged a $75 non-payment fee.
CCC reserves the right to withhold transcripts, and restrict future registration and take any other action legally available to the college if your account balance is not paid in full by the published due date.
You acknowledge that CCC's extension of educational services to you in the absence of full payment at the time of registration is a loan that you agree to repay. This agreement shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon without regard to conflict of laws principles. To the extent permitted by law, any legal action related to this agreement shall be filed in the Circuit Court for Clackamas County, Oregon. You are responsible for keeping CCC informed of any address or telephone changes. If you are under 18 years of age, you are liable for any charges incurred in accordance with ORS 348.105.
If you fail to pay on time and CCC refers your account(s) to a third party for collection, unless otherwise prohibited by law a collection fee of up to 25% of the debt or the maximum percentage allowed by applicable law will be added to your balance due. CCC will add these fees to your balance due and they will be due and owing no earlier than 60 days after the date your payment is due and prior to referring your account to a collection agency. Note that your Social Security number may be used for state agency debt collection activities.
Telephone Contact Consent
By providing my telephone number, email or other contact information, I authorize Clackamas Community College (CCC) and its agents to contact me using the information I have provided by any means of communication. This may include, calls placed to my cellular phone using any automated dialing service, calls using prerecorded messages and/or SMS text messages, regarding past, current or future financial or academic record (or critical college business) held by CCC and its agents. I consent to all forms of contact, even if I will be charged by my service provider(s) for receiving such communications.
Important: If you are unable to attend, remember to drop your classes (including wait listed classes). Tuition charges will be removed only if your drop is received by the published drop deadline.
Students are expected to attend if enrolled. If they do not attend, they must drop. Faculty may remove the student from the roster, but this does not remove charges.

Social Security Number Disclosure
Your Social Security Number (SSN) is required if you plan to apply for financial aid or loans. IRS regulations require that you furnish an SSN or Tax Identification Number (TIN) so that it may be included on the 1098-T information return filed by the college if you are eligible for some tax credits. The College will use your SSN for keeping records, doing research, aggregate reporting, extending your credit and collecting debts. Providing your SSN means that you consent to the use of the number in the manner described. Your SSN will not be given to the general public, and, as you will be issued a separate student ID, will not be used as your primary ID.
