Science at Clackamas Community College
Are you interested in a career related to science? Interested in learning more about the natural world? The CCC Science Department can help you with all these goals.
For non-science students working towards transferring to a four-year institution, we provide laboratory-based courses in many disciplines that can be used to satisfy the AAOT and ASOT requirements. Several of the courses we offer have a field component for those who enjoy outdoor learning.
For science majors, career/technical students or nursing students, we offer sophomore-level courses that will help prepare you for upper division science courses and science-related fields. Additionally we have Associate of Science degrees available in Biology and Geology that transfer to Oregon universities.
For the person who is interested in continuing their education for personal enrichment, we have many classes that are interactive, informative and can help you to better understand the world around you. Several of our courses offer field trips to engage you in your learning goals.
