Science Department | A.S. Associate of Science Degree | 2 years
Earn an Associate of Science Transfer Degree in Geology from Clackamas Community College and save money on your first two years of college.
Learn the science of geology through studying rocks, minerals, maps, seismology, fossil formation, geologic time and plate tectonics. Understand the science behind geology while participating in outdoor lab work and field trips and experience the same quality of education as you would at a four-year university for less money. Upon completion of your ASOT from Clackamas Community College, you can transfer to Portland State University to complete your Bachelor of Science. By earning your two-year degree here you can establish the foundation for a career in many different fields including environmental studies, volcanic research, paleontology and seismology.

Geology AS
