Other Credit Options at CCC
No matter where you may be in your academic career, Clackamas Community College offers a variety of ways to earn college credits. If you're still in high school but interested in gaining early college credit, or looking to transfer your military training and experience into a degree program, we can help. If your goal is to apply exam results to credit, we can facilitate that too. There are numerous options available.
Other Credit Options
Clackamas Community College offers five college credit programs specifically designed for high school students. Each program requires a contract with a high school and/or school district. Students may participate in the programs based upon their high school's participation.

If you took college-level courses in high school, you may be eligible for college-level credit and placement into college classes. You will need to take the AP Program Exam at your high school and have your test results sent to Registration and Records in Roger Rook Hall.

If you took a CLEP exam, you may be eligible for college credit. Submit your CLEP scores to Registration and Records at CCC. CLEP credits will be noted on your CCC transcript and may be applied toward course equivalencies, program requirements and degree completion.

Clackamas Community College’s Credit for Prior Learning program can award college credit for knowledge and skills acquired outside the classroom.

If you completed an International Baccalaureate certificate or diploma in high school, you may be eligible for college credit. Submit your certificate or diploma scores to Registration and Records for evaluation. IB credits may be applied toward course equivalencies, program requirements and degree compleĀtion.
Clackamas Community College accepts credit for military training transferred through the American Council on Education (ACE). Transfer of credits into specific degree programs are done in coordination with individual departments.

Clackamas Community College accepts the National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) when an official transcript is submitted through the American Council of Education (ACE). CCC will grant four credits of electives when an official transcript is submitted.
