  • Now accepting Budget Committee applications

    CCC is now accepting applications for the position in Zone 5 on the Budget Committee. The applicant must be a registered voter residing within Clackamas Community College Zone 5 boundaries and not an officer or employee of the college. Please check the map of college districts for the Zone 5 boundaries.

    The successful candidate will hold the office until June 30, 2026 and will assist other committee members perform budget-related duties such as review existing budgets, hear comments from residents, approve documents and other responsibilities. Two Budget Committee meetings are scheduled in May with the final budget approved by the Board of Education in June. Additional meetings may be scheduled as needed.

    The deadline for the completed, two-page application is Monday, May 22, 2023, to be returned to Roger Rook Hall by 5 p.m.

  • Notice of Budget Committee Meeting

    A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the Clackamas Community College District, Clackamas County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024, will be held May 10, 2023, at 6 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and will be done electronically for the FY 2023-24 budget. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place. The Zoom link to attend the meeting is: Virtual Meeting via Zoom; https://clackamas.zoom.us/j/93241262015.

    An additional, separate meeting of the Budget Committee will be held to take public comment on May 17, 2023, at 6 p.m., at the following Zoom link: https://clackamas.zoom.us/j/91528919025. It is encouraged to provide public questions or comments via email before the start of the meeting to kattie.riggs@clackamas.edu, please be sure to provide your full name and contact information. Any person may virtually appear at that meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee. A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained online at http://www.clackamas.edu/Budget_Committee.aspx.

The Clackamas Community College Budget Committee is comprised of citizen representatives from each of the college district's seven zones. The Budget Committee meets each spring to review the college's proposed budget before sending it on to the CCC Board of Education. Budget Committee members are appointed by the board and serve three-year terms.
