• Distance Learning at CCC

Studying 01Busy people need options. In today’s electronic world, not all college classes take place in the classroom. Clackamas Community College offers online and hybrid (combination online/face-to-face instruction) choices to fit your lifestyle while helping you meet your educational goals.

CCC Distance Learning classes may involve the use of computers, video, voice mail, email and the Internet. Some are a combination of both online work and time in the classroom, and certain classes require face-to-face orientation, class meetings, lab work and testing on our CCC campus.

Distance Learning Class Registration, Fees & More

Distance Learning courses are listed in a special section of the printed CCC Schedule of Classes. You can spot fully online classes in the schedule by the WEB icon and hybrid courses by the HYB icon.

You do need access to a computer to take online classes. As a CCC student, you may make use of computers in the labs in Streeter Hall and the Dye Learning Center on the CCC Oregon City Campus. Computers are also available in many public libraries.

Distance Learning classes are subject to the same tuition as other CCC classes. However, there is a $35 Distance Learning fee per course.

For more information, please visit our Distance Learning website.
