**To meet graduation requirements in addition to successful completion of courses, the MA student is required to: participate in an unpaid, supervised externship in an ambulatory care setting; perform 20 hours of public health-related community service; register for either the CMA (AAMA) or the RMA (AMT) certification exam.
 
Core curriculum is sequential and may not be taken out of order. Core curriculum is intended to be completed over three consecutive terms in one academic year.

Note: All clinical/practicum courses are Pass/No Pass. All other courses are letter graded and must be passed with a C or better. All related instruction courses may be taken prior to entering the MA program.
