OREGON CITY - Clackamas Community College Wrestling is hosting its 34th annual Takedown Tournament beginning at 8:30 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 21, in the Randall Hall gymnasium on the Oregon City campus, 19600 Molalla Ave.

Take part in the tournament in one of three divisions – elementary, high school and open, or just come out to watch the takedown fun. High school and open division matches will consist of three one-minute rounds with a 30-second rest between each round. Elementary division matches will be three 30-second rounds.

“This event is one of many outreach events the wrestling community on campus does,” Josh Rhoden, head wrestling coach, said. “It is a fun-for-all-ages event that helps everyone - from youth to adult - showcase their skills.”

Participation entry into the tournament is $20 per person, payable at registration and weigh-ins. Registration runs 8:30-9:30 a.m. Elementary matches start at 11 a.m. and high school and open matches start at noon. This event is free and open to the public to watch.
