OREGON CITY – West Linn-based artist Josh Gross captures the story of one joyful day in 2017 using symbols depicting iconic imagery of the northwest and contemporary sociopolitical views. These compositions explore living life to the fullest and finding usefulness even in negative experiences.

A graduate of Marylhurst’s fine arts program, Gross’ exhibition of high-quality ink jet prints entitled “Happy Daze” will be on display Sept. 18-Oct. 27, in Clackamas Community College’s Alexander Gallery located in the Niemeyer Center, 19600 Molalla Ave., Oregon City, Oregon.

The public is invited to an artist reception Thursday, Oct. 5, noon-1:30 p.m. in the Alexander Gallery. Gross will speak about his work at 1 p.m. There is no cost to attend.

The Alexander gallery is free and open to the public Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. For more information about this exhibition, please contact Kate Simmons at 503-594-3032 or kates@clackamas.edu.
